I read a lot of debate on whether fixies should have the right to create their own spoke cards or if they can only be received via races or alleycats (which I’m not too sure they really do in Edmond/Stillwater, OK).
So I’ve decided to make some of these — I hope I don’t get roughed up by any serious racing fixies for putting these in my spokes.
Our house is on Admiral Ave. in Stillwater next year so that’s the justification for the name — it sounds regal, elegant, yet bold — especially in this pseudo-Soviet font Bebas — my new favorite font (aside from the obligitory Helvetica Neue Condensed Bold).
The #s are my gearing. Martin over at Schlegels recommended what he rides — a 44:16 or a 44:18, so I think I’ll trust the brit on this one. Hopefully he can get it done by the weekend!
